Horniman Xmas Fair - Weekend 3rd - 4th December
A prominent annual event, the Horniman Christmas Fair will be a full weekend affair with lots on offer. You can enjoy family art activities, shop for gifts in the arts and crafts market, pick up fresh seasonal produce from the farmers’ market (on Saturday), and warm up with mulled wine, mince pies, and carols on the bandstand (on Sunday). Blackheath Xmas Fair - Sunday 20th November
The Friends of Age Exchange present the Blackheath Christmas Fair on Sunday 20th November from 10am - 5pm. It is being held in the Great Hall at Blackheath Halls. With everything from fair trade, hand-made, packaged gourmet food & drink, original designs, this market is open to all kinds of traders. More info here.
Telegraph Hill Christmas Craft Fair - Saturday 26th November
Held in the tranquil surroundings of St. Catherine's Church, Telegraph Hill Christmas Craft Fair will be a lovely occasion showcasing many talented local crafts people and small businesses from the area. Tea, coffee, mulled wine and mince pies will be on offer to keep you warm as you explore the stalls and search for the perfect present. The fair will start at 1pm and finish at 5pm. More info here.
Lantern Parade & Lights on - Wednesday 23rd November
Despite not having a market this year, Greenwich will be delivering in the Christmas spirit with a magical lantern parade before turning the Christmas lights on down in the village. Happening on Wednesday 23rd, the lantern procession will start at 4pm in front of the Discover Greenwich Visitor Centre, before making its way down towards the market. More info here.
Crafty Fox Market - Weekend 3rd - 4th December
The Crafty Fox Market returns to Brixton this year for the weekend of the 3rd December. With a range of independent designers and traders, there’s plenty on offer to provide quirky gifts and presents for the big day. Herne Hill Market Christmas Fair - Saturday 3rd December
Herne Hill's weekly market will be transformed this December in to a Christmas themed market including; Local Crafts, Seasonal Produce, Vintage Community stalls, Hot food, Live music, Workshops and more! Pexmas - Weekend 10th - 11th December
This famous bonanza is returning on the weekend of the 10th December to SE15, and and will be welcoming the citizens of Peckham with open arms. With stalls full of independent designers, makers, crafters, foodies and more; a ‘dollop of carols’, and street food and mulled wine on the side, this one is not to be missed. The Scandinavian Food Market - Sunday 18th - 20th December
This famous market attracts Londoners from all corners of the city with it’s unique and high quality Scandinavian produce. Located between a Finnish and a Norwegian Church in Rotherhithe, head down to the market this year from Sunday 18th December - 20th December. More info here.
Borough Market
The most famous market in London will of course be preparing itself for the Christmas period. Traders’ stalls will be piled high with seasonal produce, and decorations with undoubtedly be proudly on display all around the market.
