Fashion Conscience is an ethical clothing fashion outlet situated on Lordship Lane, East Dulwich (South London). Since being established in 2007, Fashion Conscience has been sourcing and selling ethical clothing for stylish women with a conscience. With the belief that all people should have access to responsibly produced clothing and accessories regardless of where they live, Fashion Conscience also have an online shop.

“We wanted to set up an online store as ethical fashion should be truly egalitarian. Just because you don't live in the UK or a major city, it doesn't mean you shouldn't have access to it.”

The founder of this inspiring shop, a former fashion and celebrity journalist for the UK’s high end women’s magazines, dreamt up the concept while away in India. Having spent a long time worrying about workers’ rights and climate change, she decided to do something about it - and so Fashion Conscience was born.

This one-stop shop for on-trend women’s clothing and accessories sells everything from luxury bath soap to breath-taking jewellery and unusual ornaments. Since establishing themselves, the team have unearthed some amazing new design talent from countries such as USA, Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Brazil and, of course, across the UK.

A major concern for the Fashion Conscience team is the issue of textile landfill in the UK. They believe, with over 1 million tonnes of textiles ending up in landfill every year, that it is hugely important to reduce waste. Following from this they stock labels such as ReLUXE, who use recycled fabrics to create one-off pieces.
