Clarkshaws Brewery is an independent brewery in Brixton, South West London.
Conveniently located in Brixton, just seconds away from Loughborough Junction, Clarkshaws is a small independent microbrewery run by partners Ian Clark & Lucy Grimshaw. The brewery tap room & shop is open for drinks on site and to take away.
Focusing on making a range of contemporary versions of classic British ales, they use only ingredients sourced from the UK, supporting local producers and reducing the ‘beer miles’ of all their products. Clarkshaws also produces a range of lagers and American style ales.
They are London's first micro to produce all Vegetarian Society accredited products and the beers are vegan too. All their brewing byproducts go to local growing projects for composting and you can see the results and have a locally grown meal at the Loughborough Farm Community Cafe, opposite the brewery.
Clarkshaws' bottled lager won the SIBA SE Independent Beer Awards 2016 Premium Lager & Pilsner Bronze Medal; and our pale ale won the Urban Food Awards Best London Beer 2015. A hidden gem that is well worth checking out!
